Meet Our Artists
I graduated from Savannah College of Art and design in 2004. Since then I’ve been teaching and showing in galleries all across the country. I love the idea of Vino Artino and think it’s a great way for people to experience art without worrying about the academics. I love to see people just let go and create something they never thought they could. It’s all about Fun!
I am a native Houstonian and after graduating with a BFA at Texas State University I moved back to this amazing city. Growing up in Houston was a great place to foster my love for the arts, often frequenting museums, musicals, plays, and learning guitar and piano as a kid. These days I mostly work in watercolor and print media. My BFA is in Studio Art specializing in Printmaking. I am so blessed to be a part of an amazing group of artists called ISMA Estudio. Some of my favorites include: making my son laugh, Chuy’s, the Menil, tropical fruit, reading, zombie movies, yoga pants, rusty train cars, Texas country, trees, yummy chocolate, spending time with friends and my fiance, Robbie. If you want to know more about my work please check out my website/blog at www.jessicacolburn.com. I look forward to sharing with you the awesome experience of painting at Vino Artino!
I'm a native Houstonian who holds a Bachelors of Fine Art in Art and Art History. As an Art Educator, I've been lucky to combine my passion for children and art together in the classroom. I have coordinated summer mural project for youth programs, as well as participating in Art preservation research projects. When I'm not teaching art, I volunteer with a variety of organizations geared towards empowering and enriching girls. I look forward to sharing many art experiences with you.
